it is darling.
When my son was born, Aunt Phyllis has tons of great nieces and nephews born close together. She started taking 4 yards of flannel, folding into thirds to create the three layers of the quilt, tieing it, and binding it with saten. She learned to choose flannel with a pattern so she didn't even have to measure for the ties. It washed so beautifully. It stayed square. It was the most wonderful gift I got.
