so I posted this photo 3 or 4 days ago feeling quite grumpy having spent so much time this year in creating quilts for babies and grand babies none of which are mine, this is the note I received from the recipient of the next to the last baby quilt:
"over the years I've seen the amazing quilts you've done for babies and grand babies and I always wondered if one day Mike and I would be lucky enough to have a little one to receive a precious quilt. Yesterday when I opened your gift it hit me how lucky and fortunate we are. When I saw the label I actually got a little teary....." Now how can I stop giving more baby quilts?
