I love that you took the time to fussy cut out each piece to make it special. Amazing job and the size is just awesome. I always liked the bigger blankets for my boys.

It is a beautiful quilt. Do not let it be your last one. You seemed to touch the hearts of all who have received a quilt that you had made.

That had to make you smile all day--I know it would make me smile. I made a quilt 3 years ago for a friend. We used to show horses and they were horse show friends. The quilt had cowboy boots all over it. Just the other day grandma told me that the little boy now 3 1/2 years old drags that quilt all over with him. Made me feel good for a long time. Sometimes you don't hear how much someone loves your quilt and your efforts.

The quilt is lovely.

I am so glad you posted something about someone appreciating a gift! The recipient wrote a lovely note, too.

Awww! you can't, nothing keeps me going more than appreciation for what I've done.
I regret that I didn't get an acknowledgment of receipt of the last baby quilt gift I sent a great niece!

I have that very same fabric. I think I have two or three yards of it. I keep thinking over and over in my head how am I going to use it. I just kept coming up with cutting it into strips and using it for border, which to me is boring and wouldn't do the cute fabric justice. NOW I see what you did with it and I think I am going to copy your design! I LOVE it. Great job. And it is so nice that you got such a great thank you for it. It sure does make you feel good when somebody loves something you made for them. Thanks for the idea! :D
