Love the quilt, but not that backing I don't think. It clashes too bad. How big is the quilt?
Beautiful. You really made me laugh with your name "trip around town." I love it!!! As far as comments you've received on the back piece -- it's your quilt, and you can certainly use it. We only see one side at a time when it's on the bed anyway.

I would NOT use the second one for backing but I like it anyway. The trip to wherever is lovely

I think your quilt turned out wonderfully! I really like all the fabrics and color scheme. I agree with everyone else; I'm not crazy about the second one for the backing, though. I think it would make a wonderful second quilt top.
