It's a "thingamabob" :D
Welcome to the Quilting Board!
I thought it was an emery board but to see one like this? I've never seen a square one. Let alone, one with Sun Bonnet Sue on it or square shaped.
I have seen them this shape...I remember thinking that it would be rather difficult to use. You would get use out of the edges, but when they were all worn off, how would you get to the newer part in the center of the square???Originally Posted by Ps 150
Ditto. QIAD sent out ones that are shaped like a heart.Originally Posted by quiltlady
Could it be used to "rough up" a side of a stencil to keep it from sliding around?
If the edges got all yucky (technical term)it's thin enough you could trim it off and keep using it as an emory board.
Whatever it is, it's cute if nothing else.
I'm going with the lady who said emery board. The other side would be the buffer. if you rub it over your nails it makes them shiny as if you have on clear nail polish.
