A while ago I ordered quite a few quilt stencils from various sellers on Ebay and one of them sent a little square in the package as a "Bonus Gift". The paper didn't even say what it was, though. However, in the chaos of so many packages coming in (quilt stuff! :D ) and so many packages going out (DH sells our girls' previous year's homeschool curriculum on Ebay) I lost the paper telling me who the seller was and I can't remember which stencil it came with.

This side is a bit scratchy.

This is the back with a somewhat smoother side.

Is it an emery board? Could you file your nails with the rough side and buff or fine tune the filing with the other side?

Does it look like a sponge? I can't see that well, but it looks like one of those sponge type that you can put in water and it enlarges. Don't try that unless you know, but that's what it looks like. I had one that you could do that way.

I have no idea but I love the Sunbonnet Sue. She's really cute in the picture.

Wait, is it hard, soft? I've gotten some pretty useless stuff as bonus gifts. They generally hang around until a grandchild comes along. ;-) Good luck figuring it out.

It's an emery board. I've seen them before in quiltshops. Comes in handy to keep by your machine - can take care of a nail to keep from snagging on material or polish a burr off a straight pin.
