I am new here and just started quilting in October. Kinda funny considering I have had a sewing machine but used it only twice and both times my best friend had to drive over to my house and thread the sewing maching for me. So back in September I decided I was going to start quilting. LOL. I went to a quilting club meeting at our local church and fell in love. Made my first quilt ( not this one will post the picture later) in a week. Once I started cutting out fabric I was hooked. I made the top and the bottom and took it to a lady who professionally quilted it. Then my daughter told me you have four grandchildren How are you going to decide who togive it to? When my husband and I went to pick it up, he told me you will be sorry if you don't keep your first quilt. So hence I had to make four more quilts by Christmas. Then my husband told me he felt left out because I was making all the grandkids one and not him. SO I snuck around and made him a wildlife king size quilt as a surprise for Christmas. I will try to post all the pictures tomorrow. So I am so excited to say I am addicted and made 6 quilts, one king size, three full and two twin from Ocotber 5 until Christmas. Hope you like the picture. It is not a real good picture, will post more tomorrow.
