Over the River- Quilted by Harriet

I just love these stitchery quilts. I never would have imagined this in the brown and black colorway, the pattern shows it in red. It is fabulous!

I have seen it done in red, rose and purple but never browns and blacks. I think I like it. It gives it a pencil drawing look.

Beautiful quilt and quilting. I like it with the browns as well. I have only seen it done in black and white. Thank you for sharing.
Desiderata (Max Ehrmann) - Walk placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
