My mom just finished piecing her "Over the river and through the woods" top. Her embroidery is beautiful and she's much faster. I'm still on my center "word" panel :0) The pattern is a Crabapple Hill pattern.

Lovely quilt!!! Brings back childhood memories. I admire anyone with the patience to do hand embroidery.

Oooohhhh!!! I love it. I could do that if it could be done on the embroidery machine. I used to do a lot of hand work, but with the arthritis in my hands I can't anymore. Wonderful!!!

Just purchased that pattern. Plan to shop for fabric on our way to N. Carolina (to see DD & family) the week after Thanksgiving. Hope to have it done by next year!!
