I decided to change up the words on my "Over the River" embroidery panels for my quilt. Mine says "Over Morgan Creek and through cotton fields...To Maisy's house we go" Then I had to change up the landscape of the one of the panels to go along with the wording...I took out some trees and added a cotton field. Then I decided I didn't like the flying geese blocks around the quilt or the square in a square alternating block between the panels...SOOOO as usual for me, I don't do anything "by the pattern"...I always have to change it up some way or the other..LOL . Decided to only use star blocks, which meant I had to do some thinking to figure out the layout & the elongated star. In the end I am very happy with the results...just have to bind, add a hanging sleeve & the label.

Very cute. I have this on my to-do list. I'll probably stick to the pattern, but you are so clever making those changes.
