Thread: Paper pieced puppy and need your opinion.....

This is a paper pieced puppy I just completed. My newfie (in my avatar) Maggie has a best friend Henry (he is a catahoola hound). I saw this pattern and thought it looked like him so I made this for his parents.

My question for all you fellow quilters is what do I do with it? My DH doesnt think they will hang it on a wall? So, should I make it a table topper? a pillow? its too small to incorporate into a quilt, plus I really didnt want to make them a quilt with it. Any idea's?

I think a pillow or what about a tote bag? Don't know why they wouldn't want it on their wall - I think it is adorable. I love catahoulas!

Put corners on the back so they have the option of hanging or putting on a table!

You did a fantastic job with this....looks just like him. I think a pillow would be perfect. I have never seen a Catahoula before...so I looked them up (learn something new here every visit:)).

I vote for a wall hanging. I can not think why they wouldn't want it in any form. You did a great job and very lovely!
