I local client gave me this quilt to quilt. I got permission to post pictures. This was a class she took to make the paper peiced stars..it is beautiful quilt. I was told exactly how to quilt it. which is nice in many ways....and it is a beautiful quilt.

HOwever , If it were MY quilt....I would have added some metallic thread in some of those starz..I would have used a poofy batting...and all of the stars that I put in the background ( the big ones that mimic her paper peiced ones..not the little ones) I would have used a varigated thread and made them stand out more....

Of course this is all free hand..no pantos..or computer....ALl my own hand!

How in the world do you ever get finished with one hand quilted quilt let alone more !!!! That just amazes me . Took a class and nope, cannot do this , part can't get the needle threaded and 2nd trigger fingers so......you truly amaze me with your hand quilting as well as machine !! Beautiful, I can only dream.

Great use of black to accentuate the great piecing and great quilting. I love it!
