Thread: Patches and Pinwheels quilt

    This is the quilt I finished last week. The pattern is "Patches and Pinwheels" and is available free on the website quiltville.com. I think it's interesting that the two blocks (a 16-patch and a pinwheel) form a new pattern by changing the direction the pinwheels go in alternate rows and by changing the placement of the 16-patch block in alternate rows with a white square or a colored square in the upper corner. It is a throw-sized quilt, 44.5 x 60 inches.

    I love your quilt. Are those solids you used in your quilt? I think I am going to try it in my 30's repro fabrics.
