This is the pear table topper that I finished yesterday. The table I made it for has my sewing machine on it right now so I had to hang it up to take pictures but you can still see what it looks like! I like to quilt small hidden 'things' in the meander quilting and this one has a few butterflies (were supposed to be bees but came out looking like butterflies :-D ) and it also has a couple of stars quilted into the red strips! This was a fun project. I also wished I'd gone around the pears with a heavy black thread to make them stand out more but right now, I'm leaving it as it is. I might change my mind and put the black thread around the pears later. What do you think?

I think the blanket stitch you have on the pears already is enough, great quilt!
