    They always used to flush out from brush when I would walk back home. In early spring, they would BOOM as part of the mating ritual, and it would echo through the mountains. Thanks for sharing.

    They really are not the brightest bird. I've had them in the yard and walked right up to them. My cats like them! They sit in the window chattering at them. LOL

    what a great photo. Can the bird eat the fruit in the tree? Maybe he's not so dumb if so. Are they bigger than a piegon? Very interesting to see critters not found in our own front yards, thanks for sharing.......
