I volunteer for a Pet FoodBank in the Charlotte NC area. Most of our clients are elderly or disabled and on fixed incomes. Lately I've been running around picking up feedbags, kitty litter buckets and just about anything else we can reuse to distribute pet food to our clients. We are trying to buy a trailer to haul all of our stuff around. I've been saving some of the fancier pet food bags that people give us to make these bags as a fundraiser. They are made from a woven plastic. They took a half yard of fabric to line and 2 yards of webbing for the handles. Need to figure out how to put a pocket in them.

You could put a pocket on each side of the lining before
sewing the lining into the back. I have made a couple of these bags for shopping and they have caused a lot of interest.
Best wishes for you fundraiser wish I could help

Or you would use some recycled denim pockets and put them inside out outside the bag.

Thanks ya'll. I was just thinking, I've got about 10yards of denim that someone donated to another project I can use plus tons of jeans I can use too for pockets!!
