    Thanks for the tip - always want to save money that I can better spend on fabric. Your quilt is wonderful and I love the colors!

    I bought a vinyl table protector from Walmart to use for the same thing! It cost around $5 also. It isn't really thick though. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
