I told my husband I didn't want to go out to eat for Mother's Day but wanted to go to a quilt shop that I never get to go to & he actually agreed. I called my friend/neighbor/quilting buddy to see if she would like to take a little trip & away we went. We took our time & enjoyed the quilt shop, then headed over to my lake cabin with a stop for a quick lunch, picked up all my bedding & stopped at another quilt shop. This one is going out of business though but she still had quite a bit of fabric & we got some good buys but sorry that she won't be in business any more. That's how I spent my early Mother's Day!! I may try the same thing next year!!!!

these are the the patterns & fabric I got at the first shop

the story book pattern is really neat

the rest of my buys from the store going out of business

You rocked it!! I think the "The Bear Tales" story book looks adorable. Who are you making it for? Glad you had a great day of shopping and lunch with your friend, life doesn't get much better than that.
