What a great use for old T-shirts! I'm personally not a pink girl, but I know many who are, so I'm sure that pink Alabama purse is going to make some young lady very happy!

I really like these. I wouldn't have thought to use T-shirts for purses.

You really know how to make a nice looking purse. I can see the quality in your bags. You are great at making them. Please show us all you make.

They are so good! I sure am missing my sewing room. I love the idea of using the t shirts and will be copying you Vicks ...when I get home. I sent my pm in today for secret Santa. Love all the block of the month you've done. I'm missing doing them too.

Yes, always use stabilizer so shirt doesn't stretch; then batting & then a heavy stabilizer; then quilt before cutting out your pattern. You can make almost any bag X-body...just lengthen your strap. If you want to be able to adjust the strap, add barred ring. I made the Alabama & I love my country t-shirt purses X-body, also the cotton Gators one. Go online & you can find lots of free patterns... I can't give you a pattern as I just make whatever I feel like making, some with zippers & some not. If you have questions I can try to help you.

I make sure mine are all washable.
