Yahoo! After many trials and errors (including stitching a short section to the leader ) I managed to get this done! This is exciting! Now I have 6 quilts to get done by Christmas. I am going to keep the quilting down to simple loop de loops and then start practicing some feathers after the holidays!
This was a real learning experience with me learning from lots of mistakes.

yes a little at a time. You will get the feel of the machine and your feathers will be gorgeous.

Yeah!!! It is good to take the time to practice. :) I know I learn my watching. It might be good to take some time and watch some quilting techniques on youtube to help. Congrats on your new machine.
