Default Pre-Quilted Jacket with Knitted Sleeves

I started this project a couple of yrs ago with my yarn stash. Knitted the sleeves without a pattern before I had the jacket pattern. Finally was able to fit the sleeves to suit a pattern with pre-quilted black fabric. I added a gold batik binding with Chinese button closures. Now I need pockets, but don't want the usual square ordinary pockets. Because the sleeves are sew funky, I would like to add a funky pocket. Any suggestions? You're all so talented, I know someone out there understands what I am looking for. TIA

I would use the same batik as the binding. Love your jacket!

I would knit the pockets the same as the sleeve and put the trim on it. Nice looking jacket and you know it will be one of a kind! Happy quilting

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll start knitting a pocket tonite. I knew you would all come thru.
