When I saw this a quilt of the week I immediately thought of my country - Australia - which is burning up at the moment. I then clicked onto this thread and was not the least bit surprised to read that it was inspired by such an event in the past.

This is wonderful, I can only imagine the time you have put into this by finishing with attaching beads. Your work paid off, this is stunning.
