I have made 2 runners but I think every other one that I have seen is nicer because they put the light colours in the middle and I went dark to light. I am going to try another one, they really are quite easy to I make, its just the fabric picking thing (maybe that's why I keep doing the one block wonder)

beautiful, did you use a special ruler?
Nice. Picking eight colors is the hard part.
I like the way you did yours. Did you use the 9 degree or the 10 degree ruler? I am still trying to find the 9 degree because I want a smaller spiral. Good job. Glad to hear it is fun and easy.

They are very pretty!

Awesome!! I love them.
Very nice.
Your runners are sew nice!
Even with the 10 Degree, you cut the measurements of the 9 degree for those that wonder. It uses the same number system. You can even do a little math and go smaller yet and use the same ruler.
Susy, I think your runners looks very nice. You did a great job.
By the way, I think your runners are pretty. You did a good job.
Very nice!
Beautiful runners!! I love your floor tile too!
Nice! I know what you mean about picking the colors. I am doing a spiral tree skirt with the 10 degree wedge ruler and I agonized over the colors for weeks! Now that I've started sewing, it's not that hard!
wow on the cost. guess I'll be saving my pennies for a while. Great job on the spirals though. Thanks for the info.
Oh so very nice, I wish I had the pattern for that.

Love your table runners. Great job.

They look great!

I made one of those but couldn't find the large wedge so I used a smaller one (it was only 19.95). I still used the 8 FQs and cut everything the way the pattern called for except when it called for a piece bigger than my wedge. I ended up with the middle pieces not quite matching correctly so I cut 4 extra strips, 2-1/4" x strata length. I staggered these in the center so that each was 3/4" off from the next and it worked out perfectly. I ended up with a 36" swirl instead of a 42". I put a picture on my blog if anyone wants to see it. www.northerndeb.blogspot.com

I really want to make this but am having a bit of a problem. I went into a quilt shop (not my regular shop) and she had one on the wall. I commented on it and she said the instructions were in a book that I have.... Just adapted. I got the book and ruler several years ago at a show in San Antonio... but for the life of me, I can look at the book and the ruler ALL DAY and still not see what is adapted to make this table runner. I really would like to make my daughter one for Christmas. The book is purple with a bargello sort of butterfly on the cover. Can anyone HELP???? Thanks!
