I enjoyed every minute of doing this quilt. The embroidery is hand done.

Beautiful! So glad you said it was hand embroidered. You start thinking embroidery is a dying art with all those whizzy machines doing for people now. I admit I have one that does do embroidery too, but there is nothing like the pleasure of creating something like your quilt.

Ruth, it's just stunning. Did you do the other one they came out with? I think it was around 2009? I also agree, hand embroidery is making a huge come back. I love doing the hand embroidery. Taking mine along tonight for a sleep test at the hospital. Hope to get lots done.

this is beautiful! i am just now learning the art of hand sewing and hand quilting and i find it sooooo relaxing! i should try something like this one day. you did a beautiful job! :)
