    2012 Thimbleberries Sampler quilt

    I enjoyed every minute of doing this quilt. The embroidery is hand done.

    Beautiful! So glad you said it was hand embroidered. You start thinking embroidery is a dying art with all those whizzy machines doing for people now. I admit I have one that does do embroidery too, but there is nothing like the pleasure of creating something like your quilt.

    It's a great quilt and I love the fact that you used hand embroidery. It's such a peaceful art and lets never let it disappear. Thanks for sharing.

    Ruth, it's just stunning. Did you do the other one they came out with? I think it was around 2009? I also agree, hand embroidery is making a huge come back. I love doing the hand embroidery. Taking mine along tonight for a sleep test at the hospital. Hope to get lots done.

    Thank you all. As I said I enjoyed every minute of doing this quilt!! I do have an embroidery machine but love handwork too!

    this is beautiful! i am just now learning the art of hand sewing and hand quilting and i find it sooooo relaxing! i should try something like this one day. you did a beautiful job!
