3 quilts and a horse
5 Attachment(s)
The first quilt is a mini quilt, 9" x 9" that I donated to the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative. http://www.alzquilts.org/ It sold at auction for $146 and was made in memory of my Grandfather who had Alzheimer's.
The second mini quilt is 8" x 12" and was sold by the AAQI for $70. It was made in memory of my mother who also had Alzheimer's. It was rewarding to contribute to Alzheimer's research. The third quilt was the most fun to make because of all the different blocks. The pattern is Four Star Generals by Yellow Creek Quilt Designs. I thought the civil war statue in our town was the perfect place to display this civil war quilt. Elise |
What beautiful quilts. I am partial to the civil war reproduction. My husband is a reenactor.
