4 year old DGS helped make this
 

I have been teaching him to sew by his request. He started out pulling the straight pens and then pushing the pedal and now he is guiding the material. He sewed quite a bit of this quilt. He made it for his 4 year old cousin. I had a blast and so did he.

He did a wonderful job. His Cousin will love it. Always need more quilters.

That's great for a 4 yr. old. It's very pretty also. Couldn't have done better myself.

It is darling! Doesn't it feel great helping the little one learn 'grown up' stuff? It makes them so proud - us, too!

That is awesome! My grandmother had me on her treadle sewing machine when I was 5 or 6 sewing quilt blocks together. Too bad she was so busy she didn't get me to make a whole quilt. This quilt is really cute. He did a nice job.

Looks like nice straight seams. What fun for you both!
