Wonderful little quilts. My guild gives 1000 little quilts to Head Start every year and although I have never seen them given to the children I know they are loved and appreciated. Your a very giving person. God bless you.

That look so bright and cheery. God bless you for performing such a self less act. Thanks for sharing. I, too, would love to see them all and not just a snippet.

Give yourself a big pat on the back! Great job!

From one PL blanketeer to another PL blanketeer........thank you for your kindness. We both know that helping kids who have been traumatized or seriously ill is desperately needed. Project Linus quilts gives them that small assurance when all else is going wrong in their lives. Loved your fabric prints and, by the way, what a great doll crib you have them displayed. Take care and happy stitching my fellow quilter.

Where else beside head start can you give quilts to? I have made about 20 little receiving blankets, they are cotton on one side, and flannel on the back, 1 yard of each, NO batting I sew these inside out and before I sew them together, I place different colors, and textured ribbon around the edges then sew all around (leave a 6" opening or so to turn inside out) and I have a tabby blanket. I then tie them. They are quick and make a wonderful little extra in a baby gift. I would like to donate some but not real sure where to do this, any ideas would be great! I get my fabric from Thousand Bolts Only One Nut ! site so each cost approx. $11.00 - $12.00

show us the quilts so we can be inspired to also sew some for charity
|
Awe, so sweet!

 Beautiful colors - they will surely be enjoyed.
