I have completed this queen size quilt and can't decide how to quilt the top. I am leaning toward "in the ditch" but would love some advise. I don't want to take away from the colors and the white areas seem a little plain to me. Any thoughts on this?

Maybe a floral motif in each white block, and something swirly following the chain.

Like stitch in the ditch. How about some small medallion in centers, not too busy or large?

That's what I was thinking.

Oh, that is lovely. In the ditch would work for the colored blocks, but the white squares are begging for something more. Perhaps a simple floral circle, or geometric shape.

Medallion or flower in white area

I can see a medium size feather circle in the middle.

I agree with all the others - a medallion or flower in the white areas would be lovely.

I think quilting a design that fills the white and use white thread... :-)
