I am attempting to make a table runner for a friend. She wants log cabin blocks for it. I made 2 of the 3 I need and messed up on both of them. Good thing I have plenty of this fabric to work with. LOL!! BTW this is my first attempt at a Log Cabin.
Can you see what I did wrong?

I didn't catch what you were talking about at first... thought you meant for them to be a little longer instead of a square. Now that I see it, I'm sure you do too! You'll get it,and then FLY with it!

Yes, I see it...A log cabin seems so very simple but all the pieces need to be marked and sewn in order...my first one was a disaster, too!

Now that I've made one mistake twice and one once maybe the next will be perfect.

With any luck at all! I love your name...my youngest daughter called me JO Momma for some unknown reason, she thought she was really funny!

well apparently I must like these blocks because other than the little light tan piece all by itself, I don't see anything wrong and think these are great!!!

Thank you! I love them too but I want them to be better since they are for someone else.

Looks like a simple fix to me. She'll love it.

Oh, I didn't look closely enough. Pick one of the two and make two others to match.
