This quilt was made from a kit, all the pieces were pre-cut. Good thing because I NEVER would have made it otherwise! It's quilted with a variegated thread.
I've attached two views because I can't decide which way to hang it. Please tell me if you prefer it horizontal or vertical! |
Beautiful! and I like it vertical.
Beautiful!!! I think it should go vertical as well.
I would prefer it in my home :!: Since that will not happen  , I like both, sorry ;)
Love it... go vertical!
Vertical. Love it! Great job!
definatly either way!!
Pretty! One of my favorite patterns to make!
Beautiful quilt, love the colors
first picture definely :D |
Fantastic job! I like it either way, but forced to the wall would do the vertical.
Is this a John Flynn precut kit? I did the Wheel of Mystery and loved the way the batiks didn't ravel. I just received my set of J.F. acrylic templates so I can work on a sampler block for our guild friendship exchange. Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I agree that it should go vertical. It is absolutely beautiful. I've always wanted to make this pattern but haven't gotten around to it yet. Was it super hard?
Beautiful job! Prefer the horizontal position best as the focus is lost in the vertical view. Looks good either way though. :-D :-D
Beautiful and vertical.
Wowzers! That is gorgeous. I like horizontal, but turned upside down.

I agree, pre-cut was the way to go with this one. You've done a beautiful job on this quilt. It's the first storm at sea I've seen in batik. It gives the design a whole new look and I love it.
Love it!! I vote vertical.
very nice.

I love the color choices and I too prefer it vertical without a doubt. A Storm at Sea is on my to do list and hopefully will wipe that list out soon

You really have to look to see its all straight edges. You did an awesome job. And either way looks fabulous. It would look really fabulous on my wall too. |
Beautiful quilt! Way to go. I like the vertical for hanging.
