I finally finished my blue jean circle quilt. For the quilts I have done I had to borrow my sisters sewing machine. Mine weren't working. Part way through this quilt the zig zag stitch quit working. Looked like a washer or something dry rotted so I used plastic template to sit in the area where the washer should have been to finish sewing the rest of this quilt. The quilt is around 6' x 6' and this one is mine :D

Really like the heart! Is the plaid flannel?
|
Oh what a great pattern!

I love the way you have done this!!! I learnt this method last year but didnt know what fabrics to do it in, I ended up laying my squares out to make a handbag LOL - I make a lot of those. But I now have been inspired!! Thank you.

Wow! You took a neat technique and turned it into a really special quilt! Love the heart, and the combo of flannel plaids and denim. Way to go!
BTW did you use flannel or batting in the middle? |
yes the plaid is flannel. From my dad's, my ex's and my son's flannel shirts.
Thanks everyone for the compliments. I designed the heart pattern myself on graph paper once I had all the squares cut out to see what I had to work with. |
