I made 3 area rugs using strips of old fabrics that I crocheted
I am thinking I"d like to sell these now but not sure about prices..Really is an ideal way to use up a lot of fabric

wow, love your rugs, did you crochet them from all types of fabrics????

I used to help my grandma make these. We would go to garage sales and find woolen items, slice them into strips and then she would crochet hers and I would braid and she would sew my braids into the oval pattern. What a walk down memory lane!!!!!!

They are all done from 100% cottons left over from quilting projects

Beautifully done rugs. You shouldn't have any problem selling these. Maybe look in Country Sampler magazine or online Country shops to get a pricing idea. I can just picture one of these rugs lying on a hardwood floor.

These look just like the ones my mother and aunt (95 years old) use to crochet. They used scraps from projects, they were both sewers. Mama told me she learned to make the rugs from her mother and g-mother using old clothes. People recycled long before it was popular.
You did a beautiful job. What size hook did you use?
These rugs are heirlooms.
Thanks for sharing.

How did you do this? Did you sew all the strips together, first? What size hook?

Give us a tute, please.
