Very Nice, Love those crowfeet, Thats astitch I want to learn and do. What kind of thread, did you use? The stitches are so even and decorative. Any suggestions, or advice, on doing them? Looks very Pro to me, so your advice and wisdom would be appreciated.

I read the other thread that says this stitch is the same as fly stitch. I've used fly stitch on decorative embroidery, but never thought of using it to hold a quilt together. Fantastic idea!! Thank you Sara.

rebecca, thanks for the kind words. the stitch is very easy. i used a big ball of verigated crochet thread. if you saw it in person you would see that the stitches aren't perfect, but with practice they get pretty uniform. it looks old fashioned to me. plus the quilting goes really fast. you take a stitch and then travel inside about 1/2 inch to the next one. it is very satisfying to someone like me without a lot of patience for hand quilting

nana,,,I think you have alot of patience, with doing the stitch consistently, and so evenly, as well as doing the whole quilt. You don't give yourself enough credit.

Love your quilt and the crow feet. I've never heard of crow feet either. I must keep in mind to use in a future quilt. Great work.
