I made this quilt from the pinwheel project challenge blocks. It's twin sized, the blocks are 6", 60 pinwheels and 60 sixteen patch. I scrapped the borders together with leftover fabrics and bits of leftover blocks. I quilted it on my Janome 6500. This quilt has been on my to do list for quite some time, I first saw it on Bonnie Hunters site. Thanks to the pinwheel project challenge, I've moved it to my finished list.
I named it A Day At The Beach because it reminds me of the colorful beach towels, umbrellas, snowy white sand and blue sky and water that I enjoyed when we lived in Florida. I really had fun making this quilt, I think I'll keep it for myself. Thanks for looking. Love your pinwheel quilt. I like the way the alternating 16 patch blocks gives an illusion of being set on point! Very nicely done!!
