Easter table runner & MSQC pattern "The Big Star" both for me :-)

I passed by a quilt shop last month after finishing some work in the area and found an adorable Easter table runner kit so of course I couldn't resist and bought it and I kept staring at it the whole period until finally decided to make it....wow toooooo much appliqué but worth it.
The other one is a bed quilt for my bed "after more than three years of quilting finally I made one for me". It is the Missouri star quilt company pattern the big star and I used Kansas trouble fabric by Moda (love the deep colors" Thanks for looking |

Both items are great. I know what you mean about finally doing something for yourself. I have done that this year and when a family member asks who it is for. I say "me". I have had some fun doing what I want for me.
