Hi - there have been a few threads about snoball quilts, so I thought I would post mine which is now ready for binding. This was the easiest quilt I have ever pieced (unlike my GOM I really like simple!!). I will make another one, this time using something darker for the snoballs, as I think the lighter colour I used is a bit overpowering - plus my quilting stitches are not so crash hot, so I need to "hide" them a bit! My friend made a similar quilt, using florals, and it is absolutely gorgeous! I'm going to try an "I spy" next, using different fabrics of course.

Wow! That is so pretty. I really like your border. How did you do that?

The pattern I had was called Kansas Dugout - another easy peasy block! I only did top and bottom, because I wanted to make the quilt longer.

Just two blocks - snoball and ninepatch. The corners on the snoball have to match the top and bottom outside squares on the nine patch to get the criss cross effect. I didn't call it easy peasy for nothing!
