I was on my way to get my Daddy to go to the Dallas Quilt show a week or so ago and saw a sign for an Estate Sale. I debated about stopping because I couldn't wait to get to the show. But boy am I glad that I did stop. There was a nice guy that stated the lady that had passed away was a quilter, and I am guessing it was her son, said she did every thing by hand. I found a few small bags of fabric and large bag of patterns. I still have to go through it all and figure out some of the patterns, but I am loving this one panel. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but I will most definatly use it in a quilt. I got all of it for $9.50. Could not believe it!
Anyone have ideas for a quilt pattern for these panels?

What a lucky find, no idea what you could do but they are very sweet.

I would try and make blocks like they are in the quilt on the panel, and put them around the panel to get it as big as you want it. Just an idea, I don't know how big the panels are. But they sure are pretty.

Awesome find... I would look on line and see if you can google some old fashion quilts that could have those prints in them... I would defiantly want to use them in something of their period. Great find.

Lucky you, the panels are fantastic, makes me want to paint them with thread(not that I would know how to,just looks like it would be fun to try)

They are 8" wide and 8 1/2" high and there are 6 different pictures, but I have them all twice. On the selvege it has "V.I.P. screen print Cranston Print Works Company. I may have to google Cranston Print Work and see what they have and when these were made. Thanks for the idea of that.
