I just finished my very first applique project. I started this in late summer but put it aside after Christmas b/c I had to redo the quilting :-( :-(
I made this for my 2 year old g/s. I gave it to him as one of his birthday gifts.

I love your quilt. Making kids quilts is my favourite pastime. Is that your own pattern or a commercial one.

I've seen their patterns & love the Native American quilts. I know he will also.

I got the pattern from FatCats.Com (i think that's correct). I decided the hand embroider each animal so it was a little time consuming, but I love the patterns on fatcats.

What a grand gift!!. Of American Indian heritage myself, I am always in awe of the beautiful things that represent our Fellow Indian Americans. Your grandchild will cherish this forever. Very nicely done!!!

Thanks...he stopped playing with his cars to give it a quick cuddle at his b-day party. I was thrilled with his response.
