Finally finished the crazy quilt!

I could swear there was a section for crazy quilts somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.
Anyway, after 2 years, she's done! And she came out much better than I thought she would. It looks SO much better in person than it does in this pic, but here goes anyways. :) Ya'll have no idea how excited I am to have finished! lol. Her name is "The Wishful Garden". I hemmed and hawwed about showing it, but I know everyone here won't be too hard on me. . .I hope? Oh, and ever single thing used for/on this quilt (except my sewing machine) came from clearance/yard/garage sales. I'm as proud of that as anything. She'll be headed to the fair this fall - wish me luck, please! |
I love it!! Good job and good luck at the fair!!

I love it, you did a beautiful job! Congrats on being a bargain shopper and being able to make something great out of your finds. A woman from my own heart!

Wow, that is one splendiferous quilt, each center is unique and wonderful - it's sure to be a prize-winner!

Nicely Done. Good Luck at the Fair. Just know it is a quilt you will love and cherish no matter what the judges may say. I find that the hardest part. The judges and I don't always agree! Ah well it is a beautiful quilt Enjoy it. Luann in CT

It's awesome! Wish the photo was a bit clearer and we could zoom in on the squares to see better, but from what I CAN see, it's awesome. I though it would be "just another crazy quilt pattern", but I love the way you made each square into something to look at! I'm impressed!

I think you did a wonderful job. I love the white borders and the way you added the (I think) flowers. Very nice. I hope you win.
