very pretty, and feminine. I love it

Oh, I so love that! That is the prettiest one I've seen. I would LOVE to have that on my bed, and would start one right away, but alas, that's my baby sleeping at the foot of my bed in my avatar. So, even if I did make my own, inside of 48 hours it would have to be called "Furry French Roses"

Fantastic french roses! Very pretty! Do you have a pattern for this? :)

That is just so pretty! You may have inspired me to make my own.

What a beautiful quilt! And your kitty is gorgeous :)

Absolutely beautiful, Ithink I am going to have to make one, think I might just have to make it as a whole quilt or lap quilt..too pretty!

Thank you everyone. You are all sooooo encouraging.
Gaigai - I can certainly relate - that "fur" on those roses helps keep us warm at night not to mention adding dimension to those roses. LOL Mariposa - I couldn't find a pattern for French Roses so just cut out some "blobs" and went from there. I so fell in love with a quilt that someone posted (sorry don't remember the name) that I had to have my own. Quilty Kitty - the rose pieces are just sewn onto the quilt top about 1/4" away from the raw edge so that they will ruffle when washed. I didn't use any fusible webbing with them. Thank you again everyone for your kind comments. |
That is just lovely, great work!
