When I made this quilt I was looking for a traditional look to go with the 1930s fabrics. I like Grandma's Flower Garden quilts, and I like making the centers of the flowers, but not so much all the other pieces to bind it all together. So I made just the centers and appliqued them down onto 6-1/2" white squares. The pony blocks are 12" finished blocks. This setting could be used for any appliques that fit on 12" blocks... it could be cats, dogs, or bunnies!

Where did you get this pattern??? It is a must have for my DGD, who is 4 and lives on a horse farm. They just moved to a new house. PLEASE let me know where to get this!!!!! Thank you! PM me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm addicted to those 1930's repros. I don't even like horses, but I love that quilt!
