Oh no. My mother and aunt weren't the ones in the debate. It was other family members but I never knew who.

Its a lovely quilt though what a shame it had to go through so much trouble to get to where it is today. Thank you for sharing the quilt and its story. I feel sorry for your aunt who had to make that difficult decision those years ago. Congratulations to both you and your sister at doing such a good job putting both halves back together again.
