These blocks were so fun to do! It will have a striped border next, then comes a border of snowballs with assorted HST's. I loved mixing the plaids and stripes for the border. I have lots of closeups for you. Thanks for looking! :-D :-D

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments! This truly was a fun quilt to do -- non-thinking, liberated, free piecing. It dawned on me some of my pics didn't turn out, the ones I wanted to show of the hat and watering can and also my funniest wonky star, so here they are! Enjoy these!

this is my funniest wonky star! It went on a diet, but has a long way to go!! haha!

Have not seen Gwen Marston's stars yet. Will have to check it out! I went to Bonnie's site to see her tute on these and she gets many ideas from Gwen so I guess we'll all look like Gwen's stuff before long! Bonnie used 4patches for the center of her WS and I didn't care for that but it's a great tute. I just did my own thing and loved using up many old plaids, fabs given to me, and end items to use it all up. Thanks, Leslie! Will hve to check Gwen's stars out! ;) ;)

That's funny and I think you're right!! I used some plaids that are 50yrs. old or more! I really don't think I duplicated any fabrics!! haha! Thanks, redquilter! :D :D

Hi susiequilt!! Been thinking about you and I sure love all the scraps you sent!! I believe there are some in this quilt! No vacation for me, my comp was down for 3 whole weeks! Thought I would die! We couldn't figure it out. Finally, I got connected, don't know how, but hallelujah, it worked! The comp would say I was connected, but it would not connect to the net. It was a DNS/gateway/ieframe server problems and who knows what else! It said my ieframe was corrupt, but it wasn't. haha. I'm glad I'm back! I missed everyone! I used 4 of your fabs in this one and I finished all the pale lavendar stripe in the Courthouse Steps quilt. It was fun letting loose with the fabs in this one! You can tell I didn't hold back! Thanks to your generosity, my quilts have excitement with your fabrics! :-D :-D :-D ;)
