Well, I FINALLY got these gals done, now off to the showers and then figure out what to put between. I'm thinking scrappy nine patch???? These are 12 in squares, for a 9 patch, do I use 4 1/2 squares?
This will be a quilt. No home yet. Just made for fun so far..

Fun seeing your ladies all together, Bev. I like the way you laid them out on the floor, too. Seems like a fabric that looks like your floor would work well!

PamH 09-06-2009 11:07 AM

They turned out really cute!!

Susy 09-06-2009 11:16 AM

Oooh, so cute, they will look great with 9 patches. Your work has got me wanting to do some more embroidery (I only know how to outline), they look SO nice.

ania755 09-06-2009 11:20 AM

They do look hot....Cool quilt

Bev I am so glad you let them out of the lock up!! They turned out really cute!! You do such wonderful work!

Can't wait to see the finished top!

2wheelwoman 09-06-2009 11:53 AM

Beverly, these 'saucy' ladies are too cute. You did a wonderful job on them. I agree with the nine-patch between 'em.

Evelynquilts 09-06-2009 12:15 PM

they turned out adorable...yes, I would do 4 1/2" .... :-)

sewjoyce 09-06-2009 01:04 PM

They really turned out cute! (They would make a wonderful little wall hanging too. :D )

Seems like you'd use squares the same size as your blocks.

Scrappy would work. You can do scrappy better than anyone, from what I've seen.

amma 09-06-2009 03:04 PM

Those are 4 BEAUTIFUL Ladies, Bev :D :D :D
I can't wait to see your quilt!!!
For a 12 inch finished 9 patch block you would use 4 1/2 inch squares

eparys 09-06-2009 03:43 PM

You do such nice hand work! I can not wait to see them lounging on a quilt!

mountain-moma 09-06-2009 04:01 PM

Oh Bev.they are all so neatly done u do some pretty and neat work Thanks for sharing Sweetie

deedum 09-06-2009 04:40 PM

Wow! What a lot of work, I have done some of this and know how this goes! Great job! I have a friend who does baby quilts like this! Once they are quilted they are beautiful! I got some blocks she gave me to do, to make a quilt, guess I had better put that on my list too! Will be anxiously waiting to see what you choose to go with!

tlrnhi 09-06-2009 05:36 PM

Great job, Bev!
Just leave them on your floor and play with the pattern in your floor tile. Looks like you've got a 4 patch going on if you straighten out your blocks. I think that would look kinda cute!

janRN 09-06-2009 06:06 PM

Too cute, Bev. It's been neat seeing your progress. You've done a really good job. I love to embroider but always seem to miss the lines. I agree a scrappy 9-patch would set the blocks off nicely.

Love your ladies. Are they going in a quilt now, or maybe a wall hanging? Would love to see the finished product, whatever it is.
