I purchased this fabric with the hopes of making a quilt but I am lacking imagination on how to use this fabric in a quilt. The campers are approx 3 inches high, the pattern repeats itself every 12x14 inches. Can anyone assist me and perhaps show a photo? This is my first post but I have been silently watching for approx 1 month.
Thank you.

I would use it as a backing and have the quilt top some type of scenic block or panels. Maybe photo of places the campers have been.

Love the fabric....you could do a disappearing nine patch quilt. Just make sure you use the campers on the outside corners so they do not get cut. Please update us on what you decide to do.

I was thinking the same thing, love to use these theme large prints on the back!

Use some of the campers in the centers of blocks within the quilt.

I would fussy cut the campers and incorporate them in a block. Like having them for the center of the block, and then have something like a grass fabric around the sides.

I love this fabric too- I thought about buying some but I have the same problem - what to make with it - so will be interested in the ideas you have. good luck..

That fabric is adorable. Who is the manufacturer? I would LOVE to make my parents one. They have had at least thirty motorhomes/fifth-wheels/campers/pull-trailers over the last twenty years. They buy one, go on a trip, then sell it... buy another one...use it once or twice... sell it and so on. They seem to enjoy fixing them up, using them a few times, then going onto another one.

This is what I thought too. Make a square for each RV and then applique the RV to the block. Great Fabric by the way.

I like this idea. I guess that is what I would do too. But, I would make them be in different types of settings. Beach, mountains and the like. After a quick thinking about it. Wouldn't it be cute ironed onto a webbing and cut out and placed in the fabic like it was there. Then satin stitch around it.
You could take pictures of your family and put it onto the transfer fabric then place them in the scene. LOL!
