While at the fair yesterday I had a nice conversation with a lady from the Santiam Scrappers which is a local quilt guild that meets in my home town. She invited me to check out one of their meetings and see how I liked it. I just may have to. There were lots lovely quilts, I just wish my camera and my picture taking skills could have done them justice.
This was the best of show [ATTACH=CONFIG]231058[/ATTACH] People were trying to buy this quilt at the show. [ATTACH=CONFIG]231059[/ATTACH] This is the front of one quilt [ATTACH=CONFIG]231060[/ATTACH] And the other side. It was like two quilts put together. I wish I had gotten better detail [ATTACH=CONFIG]231063[/ATTACH] This quilt has all the States flower embroiderd on them. [ATTACH=CONFIG]231065[/ATTACH] But this might be why, The date 1965 [ATTACH=CONFIG]231066[/ATTACH] Assembled 2011 [ATTACH=CONFIG]231067[/ATTACH] This was my favorite because of the pictures [ATTACH=CONFIG]231072[/ATTACH] Wall hanging.
