While at the fair yesterday I had a nice conversation with a lady from the Santiam Scrappers which is a local quilt guild that meets in my home town. She invited me to check out one of their meetings and see how I liked it. I just may have to. There were lots lovely quilts, I just wish my camera and my picture taking skills could have done them justice.

This was the best of show

Gosh no! As pretty as she was, that is not the kind of house cat I would like to have. You can't see it but she was sitting next to the chicken breast that she had just been given. She was also very alert to all the poultry noises she heard coming from another part of the barn they were in.
She is actually from a wildlife park that they have down in Bandon on the coast. I didn't even know it was there. I didn't take pictures of the reptiles because I just don't like reptiles.

Beautiful quilts, I can see why someone would want to buy the first one. Love the cat but wouldn't want one like it. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I had more pictures of even more lovely ones, but for some reason my camera blurred most of them. They had many more quilts than that.
