Must Love Dogs
2 Attachment(s)
This is from the pattern Let Sleeping Dogs Lie. I drew off some additional dogs, painted eyes on, and made it in bright colors.
It took a long time because I was "helped" by 4 male black lab puppies I offered to foster for the local shelter. I got them when they were 3 1/2 weeks and they are now 12 weeks old. They were part of a litter of 13 dumped out in a laundry basket when the shelter was closed. I haven't been able to find homes for any of them so I guess they are my babes forever. |
Very neat quilt!! & the puppies are SO cute!

Very, very cute!!!

Cute quilt, you have my dog of choice (cattle dogs) on there so I like it alot. Your pups are cute. Good job on the fostering. welcome to the foster failure club (I have 2). When the time is right they will find their forever homes, sometimes it just takes alittle time.

those doggie heads are awesome! love the pups and the pool too ;-)

That is just adorable! Every variation I have seen of this type of pattern (cats, elephants, etc) has been just adorable - but being a poodle owner, I just love this.
You did a fabulous job :) |
Love your quilt. I've never seen it with anything but cats - also very cute, but I'm a dog person. Good for you taking those little black waifs in. I hope you find homes for some of them - 4 black labs is a lot!!

Great quilt! And bless you for offering to foster such young puppies and now keeping them. There are so many unwanted dogs out there anymore. We have two from a local rescue group. So sad but so good of you to save them. They sure look happy!!!

Love the quilt ... so creative! That many dogs (on the quilt) I can handle, but 4 mixed lab puppies, I'm not sure. Congratulations on finishing the quilt ... good luck with your puppies.
