Her name is Rita. I have no idea where that came from. He drove to Iowa to get it for me. And she is a workhorse.

I will tell you something, those Singer sewing machines are just the best, wish I could have brought my one to Spain but it was in a cabinet, was my Mumīs, she hadit for her 21st Birthday present so it is 78 years old, so gave it to my Son in Law, yep thats right he has always wanted to learn to sew.

I also have the 221 model. I just love mine. It seems to have a smoother stitch then my other one. I loved my Necchi until I got the featherweight out.

I had two featherweights but gave my daughter one of them. She loves it too!! It is my main sewing machine for quilts now.

It is a pretty gem!! I have one that was given to me years ago but, someone took a chunk of paint off the plate. They are so great to take to a workshop or class for they are light and great to travel too. I just love them...they each have their own special personality! You have a great dh!:))Skeat

i have a 1953 singer 15-91 and i love the old machines yours looks to be in as nice of condition as mine
